Dr. William J. Moriconi M.D., Chief Executive Officer, for the past 8 years. Dr. Moriconi co-founded the organization in the early 1990s with his now-deceased partner, Robert Kaplan. He is a graduate of the University of Kansas School of Medicine, specializing in Oncology. Dr. Moriconi’s vision in hospice came from his practice while caring for terminally ill patients. His dedication to the quality of life for his patients, stems from his compassion that developed while treating those in need of hospice services. His belief in a hospice team that delivers dedicated, compassionate care to our patients and families during this difficult journey is what has contributed to the success of NHM.
